Zone front late 18th century inspired gown. (1790's)

Skirt is an Ivory silk satin with vintage fringe  trim.  Body of the gown is a striped green and white silk taffeta.  Pattern of stripes are all matched and top stitched with silk thread by hand. 

Sleeves are trimmed with Swiss linen and beaded lace. Hand stitched silk thread adds texture. Slits in side of skirt allow access to pockets tied around waist 

Gown is worn over a chemise, stays, clamshell bustle and quilted petticoat

The gown is finished with a mauve silk taffeta sash with handmade portrait buckle, a miniature pin with faux historical painting and altered antique parasol.
